“Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic
melting pot, in things racial we have always been and continue to be, in too
many ways, essentially a nation of cowards.” Eric Holder, February, 2009. And during Eric Holder’s confirmation hearings he also said:
“I will work to restore the credibility of a department badly
shaken by allegations of improper political interference. Law enforcement
decisions and personnel actions must be untainted by partisanship.”
And Eric Holder is the champion gold medalist on racial
cowardice and improper political interference. How dare he lecture the people
of the United States about equality and justice for all when at every turn he
has obviously, openly, unhesitatingly shown racial bias and political partisanship
in every way shape and form.
Why Eric Holder was ever confirmed still puzzles
me. His record sucks. Holder was an integral part in Clinton’s decision to
reduce the sentences of the 16 members of the terrorist organization Armed
Forces of National Liberation. And he was responsible for aiding, abetting, and
then securing a full pardon for fugitive Marc Rich because of political favors.
Either of these charges should have
disqualified him because of improper conduct at the very least. But they didn’t.
Consequently, once appointed as Attorney General in the Obama Administration, he
didn’t waste any time putting forth his own agenda.
Holder began with helping Guantanamo Bay terrorists
on a grand scale. The first, Ahmed Ghailani, was indicted for the bombing of
two embassies in Africa. Holder announced that Ghailani would be transferred to
NYC where he would be given civil rights and a lawyer and then tried as a
citizen of the USA. He then secured the release of other detainees and sent
them to other countries—including Yemen. And, most controversial of all, he
made the decision to move the 9/11 detainees from Guantanamo to NYC to stand
trial with full civil rights.
On other racial and political issues there is Holder’s
continual refusal to investigate voter fraud allegations against his radical
friends at ACORN and his sudden decision to stop the ethics investigation into
Bill Richardson’s association with political donors who received contract
awards. And now, to top it all off, Holder refuses to admonish the Black
Panther Party members charged with voter intimidation during the 2008
presidential election in Philadelphia.
How long can this go on? How many more violations
of legal ethics are we expected to swallow? Just how long are we going to stand
by and watch equal justice under the law become a thing of the past? The
political and racial favoritism apparent in the Attorney General’s Office must
stop now before our legal system erodes any further. It is time America to demand
Eric Holder’s resignation.

Black Panthers
threaten voters.
Decked out in
military garb
are these
nightstick toters.
They bully
and intimidate
folks who cast
their ballots.
They shout out
racial language slurs
and terrorize
with mallets.
