Did you think Obama’s math was faulty? I don’t know about you, but the numbers the President talked about in his State of the Union Address just didn’t add up in my mind. Obama firmly believes that if he freezes—that’s right, freezes not cuts—some programs,  $20 billion dollars will be realized  and he will be responsible for making everything all right or at least for putting the U.S .on a strong footing toward fiscal responsibility. BUNK!!

In the same breath, he called for an immediate Jobs Bill which, to you and me, is just another stimulus. The last stimulus cost over three quarters of a trillion dollars. So:  $750 Billion minus $20 Billion leaves . . .? Just who does he think he is kidding? And he is still pushing ahead with the 1.5 trillion dollar Health Care fiasco, proposing forgiving billions in student loans, and  . . . I could go on but Obamanomics give me agida.

In just those few things I have named, we are looking at increasing the deficit by two—maybe three—trillion over the next few years while saving twenty billion a year if Obama really does what he says. Where is this money coming from? All the monies paid out for the Bush give-a-way fiasco called T.A.R.P. have been paid back with interest and the funds are sitting in the Fed burning a hole in Barrack Obama’s, Nancy Pelosi’s, and other Lefties’ pockets. All they want to do is spend it and more.

How about paying down our debt? Did that ever occur to any one on the left in Congress?  How about cutting spending on ALL government programs? And how about suspending some programs, like Congressional pay increases, for a year or two so that the Government coffers wouldn’t be quite so empty.  Look, if Congress can demand that the fat-cat bankers delay or reject bonuses, then it is only right that Congress should set the example of no raises, no pork, period.

It is time that Congress showed true fiscal responsibility and started paying for every program that they pass and that that they stopped feeding their bellies more pork. It is time for Congress to rein in the spending and stop creating more entitlement give-a-way programs. The U.S.A. is in real financial trouble. Now is the time to do something about it before Peking Duck becomes a staple at the White House.
