Now picture that every time the hundreds turn to thousands another drop of water is pumped into a giant balloon somewhere over our heads. Fellow citizens, just how many more droplets do we have left till this insane spending by our President and our Congress bursts that balloon and we all are drowned by our national debt?
The debt you are looking at does not include Health Care, Cap and Trade, another stimulus or any other entitlement program that our President and Congress may dream up. The dollar numbers that you see on the Debt Clock are real and actual. Each number either represents spending for the calendar year to date or revenue for the calendar year to date. But the scariest category of all falls at the bottom of the clock under the title of U.S. Unfunded Liabilities. This liability as of this writing stands at 106 Trillion, 315 Billion, 045 Million plus and counting faster than I am able to type the numbers. The unfunded liabilities are 8 ¼ plus times greater than the Gross Domestic Product and 55 ½ plus times greater than the U.S. Federal Tax Revenue.
Where is the money coming from to pay this debt? Do we really want to continue down this road? Do we really need to own insurance companies, auto manufacturers, banks and soon a health care organization too? Do we really want to continue to jeopardize our lives, liberties and pursuits of happiness?
Come on Americans. Become clock watchers because time is running out. Make sure your voices are heard. Make sure you know and understand exactly what you are voting for when next you go to the polls. Because only you can stop this clock.

they pick our pocket.
Congress just won’t let us win,
deficits sky rocket.
We see our freedoms fading
and crumbling down.
More people are rebelling
all over town.
Saving folks a nickel’s tax
has become folly.
Pack it on and break their backs
makes Congress jolly.
Next time let’s pull that lever
and end their spending spree.
Keep those pennies to bolster
the U.S. Economy.
