About the Quacker

  The elders of my flock migrated from the Philadelphia, Pennslyvania area and began their nest building in and around Daytona Beach, Florida. Finding that the winters were getting colder and I no longer had a mate to feather my nest I paddled along after them. Once here, I found that the ponds are nice and the natives, for the most part, are very friendly and accept me readily. My Dad was a computer pecker from way back, and his interest and enthusiasm for bytes of any size lured me into preening all the bits of information I could get from him. But, alas, he flew off to that ole lilly pad in the sky. And my ducklings have left the nest. So I can now finally spread my wings and can squawk and tawk to my heart's content about the issues of today in humorous songs and political commentary.
